Այսօր՝ սեպտեմբերի 27-ին, ԵԿՄ շենքի մոտ տեղի ունեցավ 44-օրյա պատերազմում զոհվածներին նվիրված խաչքարի բացման արարողությունը: Միջոցառմանը ներկա են պաշտպանության նախարար Արշակ Կարապետյանը, ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետ Արտակ Դավթյանը, վարչապետի աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Արայիկ Հարությունյանը, «Հանրապետություն» կուսակցության ղեկավար Արամ Սարգսյանը, ԱԺ պաշտպանության, ազգային անվտանգության հարցերի հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանը, ԱԽ քարտուղար Արմեն Գրիգորյանը, ԲԴԽ նախագահի պաշտոնակատար Գագիկ Ջհանգիրյանը, Երեւանի քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանը, այլ պաշտոնատար անձինք: Իր խոսքում ԵԿՄ նախագահ Սասուն Միքայելյանը, մասնավորապես, նշեց. «Մենք բոլորս էլ գիտակցում էինք, որ պատերազմը վաղ, թե ուշ կլինի, բայց ցավոք սրտի, մենք դասեր չկարողացանք քաղել, եւ այսօր էլ դասեր չենք քաղում: Այս անորոշությունը, հարգելի պետական այրեր, պետք է կարողանանք մեր ժողովրդի միջից հանենք: Մենք նորից կարող է պատերազմի առաջ կանգնենք, կարող է ոտնձգություն լինի Հայաստանի պետականության սահմանի վրա, դրա համար բոլորս պետք է համախմբվենք»:

Սասուն Միքայելյանի այս հայտարարությունը բավական ուշագրավ է հատկապես  իր թիմակիցներից պատգամավոր Արմեն Խաչատրյանի օրեր առաջ հնչեցրած այն մտքի ֆոնին, որ պատերազմի վերսկսման հավանականությունը այսօր զրոյական է: Ստացվում է՝  Սասուն Միքայելյանը չի կիսում իր թիմակիցների լավատեսությունը և կարելի է ասել՝ հարվածում է ՔՊ-ի կողմից առաջ քաշվող՝ բացվող խաղաղության դարաշրջանի մասին թեզին: Թեև Միքայելյանը իր բոլոր հրապարակային ելույթներում ընդգծում է, որ գործող իշխանությունների հետ տարաձայնություններ չունի՝ դրանք ակնհայտ են: Միքայելյանի վերջին մեսիջն էլ` ուղղված Փաշինյանին և ՔՊ-ին, դրա վառ ապացույցն է: Ստացվում է, որ իշխանությունները ջանք ու եռանդ չեն խնայում հանրությանը համոզելու, որ պատերազմի էջը այլևս անցյալում է և շատ դեպքերում նաև տարածքային զիջումները փորձում են հիմնավորել նրանով, որ դրանով կանխում են պատերազմը: Մինչդեռ, իրենց իսկ թիմակիցը կասկածի տակ է դնում կուսակցության կողմից պաշտոնապես տարածվող թեզերը:
