Հոկտեմբերի 24-ին, Ն․Ս․Օ․ Տ․Տ․ Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունեց ԻԻՀ դեսպանատան Մշակույթի կենտրոնի ղեկավար Ասադի Մովահեդին։

Նորին Սրբությունը գոհունակությամբ անդրադարձավ երկու երկրների միջև տարբեր ոլորտներում արձանագրված սերտ համագործակցությանը: Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետը մասնավորապես խոսեց մշակույթի կենտրոնի հետ Մայր Աթոռի սերտ կապերի և համատեղ իրականացրած միջոցառումների մասին`այդ կապակցությամբ կարևորվելով մշակույթների և կրոնների միջև երկխոսության խթանումը, ինչը նպաստում է ժողովուրդների միջև համերաշխության և փոխգործակցության ձևավորմանը:

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ կատարվեց նաև Մերձավոր Արևելքում տեղ գտնող ցավալի զարգացումներին, ի մասնավորի իսրայելա-պաղեստինյան հակամարտությանը։ Վեհափառ Հայրապետը խոր մտահոգություն արտահայտեց պատերազմական գործողությունների և դրանց աղետալի, ողբերգական հետևանքների առնչությամբ։ Նորին Սրբությունը նշեց, որ Ադրբեջանի կողմից սանձազերծված ռազմական գործողությունների և ագրեսիայի հետևանքով հայ ժողովուրդը շարունակում է կրել պատերազմի արհավիրքների վիշտն ու ցավը։ Հայոց Հայրապետը հայցեց Երկնավորից, որ շուտափույթ դադարեն մարդկային կյանքը վտանգող չարաղետ հակամարտությունները, և խաղաղություն հաստատվի ժողովուրդների կյանքում։

Իր հերթին պրն․ Մոհավեդին Վեհափառ Հայրապետին ներկայացրեց նոր պաշտոնում երկու երկրների մշակութային կապերի ամրապնդմանն ուղղված իր ծրագրերը։

ԻԻՀ մշակութային կենտրոնի նորանշանակ ղեկավարը անդրադարձ կատարեց տարածաշրջանում տիրող իրավիճակի հետ առկա մտահոգություններին՝ ժողովուրդների միջև փոխըմբռնման ու բարեկամության զորացման գործում կարևորելով միջկրոնական երկխոսությունը և մասնավորապես հոգևոր առաջնորդների առաքելությունը։
