Հայ-թուրքական արձանագրություններից դեռ տարիներ առաջ թուրքերը շրջանառության մեջ էին դրել պատմաբաններից բաղկացած, այսպես կոչված՝ հաշտեցման հանձնաժողովի գաղափարը: Հետագայում պարզվեց, որ որոշ հայ պատմաբաններ ոչ միայն գայթակղվել էին այդ խորամանկ գաղափարով, այլև «համապատասխան փորձ ու հմտություններ» ձեռք բերելու ձգտումով տևական ժամանակով այցելել Թուրքիա: Այս մասին Facebook-ի իր էջում գրել է Արդարադատության նախկին նախարար, իրավագիտության դոկտոր Գևորգ Դանիելյանը:

Նա նաեւ նշել է. «Որոշ ժամանակ անց, այդ փորձը պիտանի եղավ հայագիտության բոլոր հիմքերը համակարգված խարխլելու «վեհ գործում»: Արդյունքում հայ-թուրքական բանավեճը սահուն տեղափոխվել է Հայաստանի ներքին կյանք, մենք ակամա փորձում ենք աքսիոմատիկ ճշմարտությունները ապացուցել, ցավոք, արդեն Երկրի ներսում, «հաշտեցման հանձնաժողովի» գաղափարով անհաշտություն սերմանվեց հենց մեր հանրության մեջ: Թուրքն առայժմ անելիք չունի, դեռ սպասում է:

Վստահ եմ, Հայ միտքը իրեն չի սպառել, կգա այն պահը, երբ էլ ավելի ծանր վիճակում կհայտնվեն թուրքիան և իր արհեստական փոքր եղբայրը, իսկ դրա համար այդ երկրներում իդեալական նախադրյալներ կան, պետք էլ չի լինի դիմելու արհեստական պառակտումների....»։
