Ուրուգվայի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի նախասրահում ապրիլի 23-ին կազմակերպվել է միջոցառում՝ նվիրված Հայոց ցեղասպանության 109-րդ տարելիցին:

Միջոցառմանը ներկա են գտնվել երկրի նախագահ Լուիս Լակաժե Պոուն, արտաքին հարաբերությունների նախարար Օմար Պագանինին, Ուրուգվայի արտաքին գործերի փոխքարտուղար Նիկոլաս Ալբերտոնին, մի շարք այլ նախարարներ և խորհրդարանականներ, քաղաքական-հասարակական գործիչներ, դեսպանության գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատար Մարիամ Գևորգյանը, Ուրուգվայի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Տ. Հակոբ Արքեպիսկոպոս Գլնճյանը, հայ համայնքային կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներ:

Բացման ելույթով հանդես է եկել Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի նախագահ Անա Օլիվերան:Դատապարտելով Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն իրագործողներին և հանգամանորեն ներկայացնելով մի շարք պատմական փաստեր, այդ թվում՝ Ուրուգվայի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման գործընթացի մանրամասները, Անա Օլիվերան նաև անդրադարձել է Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հայ բնակչության բռնի տեղահանմանը՝ հավելելով, որ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ գործողությունների պատճառով Հայաստանի սահմանին տիրող լարվածությունն ու անորոշությունը շարունակվում են:

‹‹Հայ ժողովուրդը կրկին պայքարում է ատելության դեմ: Բայց նա այդ պայքարում մենակ չէ, որովհետև միջազգայինը հանրությունը կլինի նրա կողքին: Հայերն աշխարհի ոչ մի ծայրում չեն կորցրել իրենց ինքնությունը››,-նշել է Անա Օլիվերան:

Ելույթի ընթացքում Անա Օլիվերան ցուցադրել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից բռնի տեղահանված և Կորնիձոր տեղափոխված երեխայի կողմից արված նկարներ, որոնցում ծաղիկներ և տուն էին պատկերված:

‹‹Եթե այդքան վայրագություններ տեսնելուց հետո երեխան դեռ ունակ է սա նկարել, դա նշանակում է, որ հայերը չեն դադարելու պայքարել, իսկ մենք չենք լքելու հայ ժողովրդին››,-եզրափակել է իր ելույթը Անա Օլիվերան:

Միջոցառման շրջանակներում տեսաուղերձներով են հանդես եկել Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի նախկին գլխավոր դատախազ Լուիս Մորենո Օկամպոն և Փարիզի քաղաքապետ Անն Իդալգոն:
